The Classical approach to education, once considered mainstream, is currently experiencing a reawakening globally. Whilst in its infancy in Australia, current cultural, social and economic pressures are giving rise to a rethink of our educational institutions.   

Classical education and the liberal arts tradition enjoyed a rich history for almost 2,000 years and formed the basis for Western civilization’s progress and prosperity; giving us our greatest thinkers, leaders, inventors, and writers. 

Here at Logos Australis, our mission is to revive the tradition of liberal arts education and promote it as a viable alternative to the progressive mainstream model. By sharing the philosophical principles with educators, parents and students of all kinds, we hope to inspire and encourage Australians to re-engage with a tried and true educational method to make it our own.
